  • Dear Members,

A blessed new year to all of you! 2009 was an eventful year for Manila Polo Club. Thank you for cheering and celebrating with us in our Centennial year!

This Year of the Tiger marks another exciting and fun-filled time. For starters, we’ve organized a variety of irresistible offers and gatherings on St. Valentine’s Day, which happens to be Chinese New Year too.

Instead of the usual live band and late night dancing, we’ll have a Valentine Family Lunch Buffet at the Main Lounge; and an intimate Valentine Dinner Set at the Willow Root. Place your reservations now! Be it a family luncheon or an intimate dinner, our Banquet Sales Office will be very happy to assist you.

As always, in celebration of the Chinese New Year, we shall have dragon dancing and other activities and traditions that you and your family will truly enjoy. And completing our February festivities are our mouth watering specials—Prawns Roulade and Fettucine Marinara.

In a continuous effort to provide you quality service and facilities, we’re happy to report the opening of our new Business Lounge. The Business Lounge will be open to Club members on February 15, 2010 and will be furnished with photo copiers, fax machines, desktops and laptops. The inner portion of the Business Lounge is perfect for small and last-minute meeting engagements.

As parents, we always want to give our children the best educational experience; the Club would like to do the same by offering a range of summer programs for kids. For those who would like to propose new activities for our kids this summer, please feel free to call our Sports and Games Office. Your input is very much welcome. Help us make our summer camp program fun and truly informative!

Finally, we encourage you to check out the remaining Polo matches at the Club. The complete schedule of the 2010 Polo Season is on page 22.
