New F&B Operations Management
The Club's temporary management of kitchen operation ends on September 20, 2011. Thus, the Office of the General Manager received proposals for F&B operations from InterPro Food Specialists, Inc. and another substantial bidder.
After thorough deliberation of the proposals, the Board 2010-2011 approved to engage the services of InterPro Food Specialists, Inc. for one (1) year beginning September 21, 2011 (ref: BR No. 174-2010-11 - Approval to Hire the Services of Interpro Food Specialists, Inc. for One (1) Year from September 21, 2011 to September 20, 2012, to Operate and Maintain the Food & Beverage Department of the Club). The contract period is deliberately fixed as an interim step toward the Management and the F&B Committee's mandate to prepare for a full bidding and selection process for a new long-term concessionaire next year.
InterPro Food Specialists, Inc. is a sister company of Primepower Services, one of the country's leading manpower agencies in the hospitality industry. They have been in the F&B business since 2008 and currently provide concessionaire services to Prime Suites, Atrium Suites, TriCas Café Makati and TriCas Café Bulacan.
InterPro Food Specialists, Inc. will manage the Club's main F&B outlets and banquets (except for the Willow Root and the Last Chukker) and adopt the Club's existing equipment and arrangements for food service. In addition, they will bring on an Executive Chef to create new menu and dishes according to members' preference. We look forward to receiving your feedback toward that goal.
Ideally, you should not notice any change or disruption to your dining experiences at the Club. However, any period of adjustment is always challenging. Toward this end, InterPro Food Specialists, Inc. has committed to continuity in the Clubs F&B outlets. Initially, their engagement requires them to deliver:
· the same menus
· the same portioning and presentation
· the same taste
· the same price
The Management is taking great care to ensure quality and service to our Members while continuing to meet fiscal responsibilities both now and in the future. Until a long-term concession is in place, we will work closely with InterPro Food Specialists, Inc., to ensure seamless delivery of both banquet and regular restaurant operations at levels you have come to expect. We hope for your patience and understanding at this time, even as we strive to minimize any inconvenience to you and your families.
